Delajah is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Criminal Justice from Slippery Rock University in 2025. Her experience includes interning at an outpatient mental health and drug and alcohol treatment facility working with adults, as well as experience in group therapy, behavioral support services, and therapeutic settings with adolescents and adults. She also has experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, providing compassionate, client-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs. Her background in social work and criminal justice has strengthened her understanding of trauma, behavioral health, advocacy, and the importance of creating a supportive and judgment-free environment where clients feel empowered to grow, build healthy coping skills, and work toward positive change.
