Therapist
Kate began working at Cove PREP/Secure in March 2026 as a therapist. She currently holds an associate license in the state of Pennsylvania and is working toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-I) in the state of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Cove PREP/Secure, she has held multiple positions in forensics, in areas such as probation, intelligence, and corrections. As a counselor, Kate has worked in areas such as drug and alcohol, community mental health, private practice, and with teens experiencing problematic sexual behavior in an outpatient setting. Kate holds both a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s in Criminal Justice. In her current role, she provides individual and group therapy to residents in the facility. She enjoys being a part of a team that creates a positive environment for the residents to succeed in.
