Approved Clothing and Personal Belongings 

Cove PREP offers specialized behavioral treatment for adolescent male sex offenders.

During the week (Monday-Friday) all residents wear uniforms that consist of khaki pants and a blue/khaki golf shirt. During the weekends, all residents are permitted to wear their own clothing as long as it is appropriate. Residents may bring only the following approved items to the facility:

Hygiene Products

Personal hygiene products are not permitted, and items will be provided to you upon arrival.

Contraband

Residents are prohibited from having the following items for safety and therapeutic reasons. These items will be confiscated.

  • Inappropriate Photos (Those showing pictures of the resident’s victims, pictures of children, adults not fully or appropriately dressed, pictures of criminal/gang activity)
  • Pagers/Cell Phones
  • Weapons
  • Mace/Pepper Spray
  • Aerosol Spray
  • Glue
  • Tape/String
  • Drugs/Alcohol
  • Prescription Medication
  • Pornography
  • Over The Counter Medication
  • Tools (Hammers/Screw Drivers/Etc.) or Other Metal Items of Any Type
  • Razors and Blades
  • Cigarettes/Cigars/Pipes
  • Gum
  • Tobacco Products
  • Incense/Candles
  • Notebook with Wire Binding
  • Plastic Bags
