Clothing & Personal Belongings

During the week (Monday-Friday) all residents wear uniforms that consist of Khaki pants and a Blue/khaki golf shirt. During the weekends, all residents are permitted to wear their own clothing as long as it is appropriate. Residents may bring only the following approved items to the facility:

10 Pairs of Underwear 5 T-Shirts 10 Pairs of Socks
3 Pants 1 Winter Coat 5 Shorts (2 for sleeping)
1 Spring Jacket 1 Pair of Boots (storage in summer) 1 Winter Hat
2 Pair of Sneakers 1 Pair of Winter Gloves 2 Sweatshirts
1 Baseball Cap 2 Sweat Pants (for sleeping) 10 Undershirts
1 Pair of Slippers 1 Pair of Shower Shoes  

Personal Belongings
1 Discman, Walkman or Small Radio 1 Deck of Cards
2 Magazines 5 Personal Books
1 Bible 2 Hand Held Games
1 Puzzle Family Pictures (Excluding Pictures of Young Children)
No Movies No Full Size Game Systems
No Dice No Personal Bed Linen or Pillows
No Board Games

Hygiene Products
1 Small Brush 1 Small Hair Pick
Toothpaste, 6oz. or less (limit 2) Hair Gel, 8oz. or less (alcohol free)
Shampoo, 8oz. or less (limit 2) Deodorant, 3oz. or less (Stick Only, limit 2)
Soap, 5oz. or less (limit 3 bars)
No Dental Floss (supplied) No Q-Tips (supplied)
No Acne/Face Wash Pads (supplied as needed) No Lotion (supplied)
No Body Wash No Hair Spray
No Razors of Any Kind (supplied) No Mouthwash (supplied)
No Nail Clippers (supplied)

Residents are prohibited from having the following items for safety and therapeutic reasons. These items will be confiscated.

The following is a list of items considered to be contraband:
  • Jewelry (Including Watches)
  • Belts
  • Inappropriate Photos (Those showing pictures of the resident's victims, pictures of     children, adults not fully or appropriately dressed, pictures of criminal/gang activity.
  • Pagers/Cell Phones
  • Weapons
  • Mace/Pepper Spray
  • Aerosol Spray
  • Glue
  • Tape/String
  • Drugs/Alcohol
  • Prescription Medication
  • Pornography
  • Over The Counter Medication
  • Tools (Hammers/Screw Drivers/Etc.) or Other Metal Items of Any Type
  • Razors and Blades
  • Cigarettes/Cigars/Pipes
  • Gum
  • Tobacco Products
  • Incense/Candles
  • Notebook with Wire Binding
  • Plastic Bags
  • Fingernail/Toenail Clippers
  • Food Brought From Outside
  • Inappropriate Clothing (Muscle Shirts, Tight Clothing, Clothing That Reference Drugs,     Alcohol or Any Other Illegal Behavior
